My full name is Ásgeir Berg Matthíasson but I publish in English as just Ásgeir Berg. Like most Icelanders, I do not have a surname (``Matthíasson’’ is patronym) and for various reasons, I prefer not to use my full name in English (one reason being that Icelanders are never addressed by only their patronym and I find it odd when it happens in English-speaking contexts).

In Icelandic, I publish under my full name.
